Tititea / Mt Aspiring

A few years ago Doug and I lined up a guide to take us up Mt Aspiring while we were living in Australia. We ended up having to cancel as the guide was injured, however it was pretty cool that we got to take ourselves up a few years later after having spent a whole year in New Zealand upskilling in the mountains!

We had perfect weather, and bumped into the Hillary family in the hut and near the summit (son and grandson of Edmund). Very cool to see Peter still summiting mountains at 70 years old!
